Informatie over solar panel sets
What's included in a solar panel kit?
A complete solar panel kit consists of one or more solar panels, a charge controller (PWM or MPPT), connecting cables, and often mounting hardware. The charge controller protects your camper battery from overcharging and ensures that energy is converted as efficiently as possible. By purchasing everything as a kit, you can be sure that the components are compatible — no guesswork, no unexpected mismatches.
Which kit is right for my camper?
We offer kits in three usage profiles. The 120W kit is suitable for a light setup: lighting, a small cooler, and charging a phone. The 185W kit is our best-selling choice and generously covers most campers — refrigerator, lighting, water pump, and USB devices. Do you have a large camper, a compressor refrigerator, and extra equipment? Then a double 185W setup (2×185W) is the logical choice for completely independent camping.
Self-installation: ready in an afternoon
Most kits are designed for campers who want to do DIY work. You connect the charge controller to the battery, you connect the panels to the controller via MC4 connectors, and the supplied mounting material securely fastens the panels to the roof. With two people, you're usually done in half a day. Can't figure it out? Our specialists will help you for free via chat or phone.
MPPT or PWM charge controller — what do you choose?
PWM controllers are simple, affordable, and perfectly suitable for a single panel up to 180W. Are you using two or more panels, or do you want to expand later? Always choose MPPT. An MPPT controller gets up to 30% more efficiency from your panels, performs better in cloudy conditions and partial shade, and is future-proof if you ever want to expand your system. All 185W kits and double setups in our range come standard with an MPPT controller.
