The roof feed-through is optional with the set. This allows you to bring the cable waterproof from outside to inside. Both the mounting brackets and the roof feed-through are attached with Sikaflex mounting adhesive. This extremely strong adhesive is easy to work with and ensures that you don't have to worry about your solar panel blowing off your roof or having leaks.
