Lithium Battery 100Ah 12.8V LiFePO4 | Victron SuperPack NG

The Lithium Battery Victron SuperPack NG 12.8V/100Ah (art.nr. BAT512110740) is a compact LiFePO4 battery that serves as a drop-in replacement for a lead-acid battery in the BCI group 49 form factor. The battery is designed to fit into existing compartments without modifications to the battery compartment or wiring, with dimensions of 273 x 173 x 173mm (plus 15mm for the connections).

The LiFePO4 battery has a fully integrated battery management system that monitors voltage, current, cell balance, and temperature, with software protection against over/under voltage and temperature, and short-circuit protection above 800A. The IP65 enclosure protects against dust and splashing water, and the integrated self-heating (max. 65W) ensures that the battery can safely charge even below freezing down to -30°C. With a 100A max. charge current, 200A max. discharge current, and up to 5000 charge cycles at 50% depth of discharge, this is a robust lithium battery for intensive use.

Thanks to the on/off push button, the battery can be de-energized for both charging and discharging in one go, which is convenient for winter storage without disconnecting cables. The M8 connections (20mm, including bolts) connect to common cable lugs, and multiple Lithium SuperPack NG batteries of the same voltage can be connected in parallel without limit to expand capacity. Via Bluetooth and the free VictronConnect app, you can read the state of charge, cell temperature, and any alarms without a cable connection.

This lithium battery is ideally suited for DIY enthusiasts who want to replace a lead-acid battery in an RV, van, boat, or tiny house, and for off-grid solar energy systems where space and weight are limited.
