Inverter/Charger 1600W 12/230V Multiplus - Victron Energy

The Inverter/Charger Victron MultiPlus 12/1600/70 replaces a separate inverter and a separate battery charger with one compact device: fewer components, less wiring, and more space for the rest of your build. The device converts 12V battery voltage to 230V pure sine wave voltage and simultaneously charges the battery as soon as shore or generator power is available.

This MultiPlus delivers 1300W continuous power at 25°C (1100W at 40°C, 800W at 65°C) with a peak power of 2800W — enough to run multiple appliances simultaneously, just like at home, instead of constantly having to choose what can and cannot be turned on. The battery charger charges at a maximum of 70A via adaptive charging technology, and the fast AC transfer switch automatically switches between battery and grid power so that connected equipment notices nothing of the transition.

Thanks to its compact dimensions (465 x 270 x 120 mm) and weight of 10 kg, the inverter/charger is easy to install in an existing battery compartment or technical cabinet, with an IP21 enclosure suitable for mounting in a dry area. The device can be read remotely via an optional GX monitor (such as the Cerbo GX) or the free VRM app, without you having to be physically present at the MultiPlus.

This inverter/charger is ideally suited for DIY enthusiasts who want to generate 230V in a camper, boat, or van.
