Omschrijving

This 100-watt flexible solar panel is the successor to our popular ETFE model, now with a noticeably higher voltage, making it even more compatible with MPPT charge controllers. As with the previous model, the connection features a junction box: a 90cm cable with MC4 connectors provides a sturdy, weather-resistant connection to your charge controller.

Underneath, there's a monocrystalline solar panel with 42 high-efficiency cells (up to 22.7% efficiency) and a peak power of 100Wp, with a power tolerance of ±3%. What's special about this panel is its voltage: with an open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 28.5V and a maximum power voltage (Vmp) of 24.4V, this solar panel is significantly higher than comparable flexible panels. This high voltage makes it ideally suited for MPPT charge controllers, which convert the voltage difference between the panel and the battery into extra current — the higher the panel voltage compared to the battery voltage, the more efficiently an MPPT controller can convert. The ETFE top layer is also IP68 tested against water and dust and resistant to 672 hours of salt spray, making this solar panel also suitable for marine use.

With a thickness of only 3mm and a weight of 1.92kg, this solar panel is easy to bend and mount on curved or uneven surfaces, such as the roof of a camper or the deck of a boat, with a minimum bending radius of 150mm. Thanks to its reinforced, multi-layered construction, the panel is also walkable and resistant to physical stress, tested with over 14,700 footsteps without damage. The panel measures 960 x 580mm and, thanks to its low weight and flexibility, is also suitable for applications where a rigid glass panel would be too heavy or too fragile.

Wat is het verschil tussen dit paneel en het vorige ETFE-model?

Het belangrijkste verschil is de spanning: dit model heeft een merkbaar hogere nullastspanning (Voc 28,5V) en spanning bij maximaal vermogen (Vmp 24,4V) dan het vorige ETFE-model. Daardoor sluit dit paneel beter aan op MPPT-laadregelaars. De junctionbox met MC4-aansluiting was ook bij het vorige model al aanwezig.

Is dit flexibele zonnepaneel geschikt voor een MPPT-laadregelaar?

Ja, en zelfs uitermate geschikt. Met een nullastspanning (Voc) van 28,5V en een spanning bij maximaal vermogen (Vmp) van 24,4V ligt de paneelspanning duidelijk hoger dan bij vergelijkbare flexibele zonnepanelen. Een MPPT-regelaar benut dat spanningsverschil om extra rendement uit het paneel te halen.

Combineer dit paneel altijd met een MPPT-regelaar (niet PWM) om het hoge voltage optimaal te benutten.

Hoeveel stroom en spanning levert dit zonnepaneel?

Het paneel levert een piekvermogen van 100Wp bij een Vmp van 24,4V en Imp van 4,10A. De nullastspanning (Voc) is 28,5V en de kortsluitstroom (Isc) 4,30A, gemeten onder standaard testcondities (1000W/m², 25°C, AM1.5).

Hoe monteer ik dit flexibele zonnepaneel?

Dankzij de flexibiliteit en een dikte van slechts 3mm kan het paneel tot een buigradius van 150mm op vlakke én gebogen oppervlakken gelijmd worden, bijvoorbeeld het dak van een camper of het dek van een boot. Laat bij het lijmen een kleine ventilatieruimte onder het paneel vrij voor betere koeling en een stabielere prestatie op de lange termijn. Montagelijm is niet standaard bijgeleverd.

Is dit flexibele zonnepaneel waterdicht?

Ja. Het paneel is IP68 getest: 60 minuten volledig ondergedompeld in 1 meter water zonder waterinsijpeling en 8 uur blootgesteld aan stof zonder stofinsijpeling (IEC 60529). Daarnaast is het paneel getest tegen 672 uur zoutnevel (IEC 61701) met minder dan 2% vermogensverlies, wat het ook geschikt maakt voor gebruik op boten en jachten.

Kan ik op dit zonnepaneel staan of lopen?

Het paneel is getest met een simulatie van meer dan 14.700 voetstappen verspreid over 49 dagen, met minder dan 3% vermogensverlies en zonder structurele schade. Incidenteel belopen, bijvoorbeeld tijdens onderhoud op een bootdek, is daardoor geen probleem.

Vermijd puntbelasting met harde of scherpe voorwerpen; dit kan wel schade veroorzaken.
